Holiday Inn New London - Mystic Area by IHG

We stayed with my family and by mistake I forgot my bathroom bag and by the time I called them Ana V. At the front desk took a few minutes to make sure the bag could be delivered to my house back in two days. Excellent service and honest staff. Sometimes that's more than I big buffet or a great location. Thank you Holiday Inn.

Typical Holiday inn but with a pretty neat restaurant and bar for some excellent food and drinks. Service was top notch, thanks to Cara, and honestly some of the best dinner we had while in the area for a few days. Our room was clean, but I've stayed in cleaner Holiday inn hotels. Not complaining just saying it could be a little better. The staff was very nice with zero complaints on attitude or courtesy. The only bad thing is the lack of a complimentary breakfast, and we're honors members to boot. Breakfast was cold, out of eggs, waffle mix and gravy. I'm sorry but if you're charging $15.95 per person, you better have some food out! Like I said on my hotel review, I'll eat downtown at Muddy cafe. Other than that, this is a nice hotel overall. Cheers!

Hotel definitely needs to upgrade the rooms. I was really impressed with the service provided by front desk agent Ana V.(very customer focused and polite) whereas another young girl from India needs to be taught about customer service and she was without uniform. Do not eat breakfast at this hotel. I suggest ownership to invest in staff trainings and upgrading the hotel as it has a lot of potential. good luck!

My husband and I ended up spending a night in New London unexpectedly. A local contact recommended the Holiday Inn because it was walking distance to a street with a variety of restaurants. We ended up driving to dinner, and then to the hotel, but still appreciated the proximity. Our room was large and comfortable. Better yet, the desk was able to give each of us a toothbrush and toothpaste! This made a big difference in our enjoying our stay. The check-in clerk was friendly and helpful. So all-in-all, a good visit.

Clean, comfy, with nice linens. A 'not hotel like' restaurant attached (with a nice fresh lobster roll on the menu.) Perfectly placed very close to the Cross Sound ferry which we boarded after a pleasant evening at this Holiday Inn.

Solid hotel choice especially for the area. Rooms are a little outdated and basic but mine had a huge mini fridge and microwave. Nice looking restaurant down stairs. They had super cute Christmas decor. Excellent location with plenty of parking. Its clean and smells clean. The area is noisy but it is a city. Only briefly interacted with staff but they were nice. Would not recommend walking around the area at night.

Loved the cleaningness of this place, also the room was very clean the front desk very attentive and super fast check out and Chek in. Beds were very confy! And the other inside pool was very clean and they had clean towels as well. They have a restaurant inside the hotel, but we did not use the restaurant I found it too expensive for the type of food they sell. Overall good place to stay for one or two nights.
